Our “Formal Quotations” (See Quotations/Formal Quotations, Screen 601) Is overdue for an update. Over time we have had many suggestions on how to make improvements however we recognize that we are not fully meeting the user’s needs. We have taken a shotgun approach and fixed or modified those things that have come to our attention. Use of this module has been lacking and we attribute this to its awkward flow and a lack of functionality.
We are seeking your input and feedback on this project. We will also be looking for volunteers to test the module as we progress. Your comments and suggestions are critical to us as we re-design how Formal Quotations are done in IRIS.
Here are the rules: The sky is the limit, Let us know what you need.
While we cannot incorporate every idea, your thinking should not be limited in scope. Let us see where the technology limits are and how we can stretch them, a more useful product is our joint objective.
We would like to see delivery of a new and improved Formal Quotations module, at least in Beta test, by the 3rd quarter of this year however, that will depend on the amount of the programming required to meet the objective.
